Falling - 2005
One of the punchier tracks on the album. "Falling" represents the best blend of traditional Mechanics melody, with the modernised sound of "Rewired", and certainly proves to be one of the best tracks from the album.
Lyrics
She lied to me
I don't get it, I'm not letting it go
I can't get through anymore, not this time
She cheated me
Of all my senses up against it this time
I can't fight anymore, not this time
Falling I'm falling
Sooner or later there'll be nothing out there
All that I believe in
Spinning around me it don't make no sense
And I'm falling I'm falling
Sooner or later there'll be nobody left
Calling I'm calling
Somebody stop me falling off the edge of this life
What does it take?
Someone hear me, listen clearly I'm done
She broke my heart in her hand and was gone
Can I get through, tell me
I'm in free fall down
And I can't stop now it's not right
She turned my soul out and left me undone
Falling I'm falling
Sooner or later there'll be nothing out there
All that I believe in
Spinning around me it don't make any sense now
Falling I'm falling
Sooner or later there'll be nobody left
Calling I'm calling
Somebody stop me falling in and out of this life
Falling I'm falling
Sooner or later there'll be nothing out there
All that I believe in
Spinning around me it don't make any sense now
Falling I'm falling
Sooner or later there'll be nobody left
Calling I'm calling
Somebody stop me falling off the edge of this life
